Activity Workshops
Purple Potters are able to travel to any destination within the UK and provide a workshop for your school, summer camp, youth centre, place of work, care home, nursing/residential home and more.
The workshops will run on a 1.5 hourly format. So according to your budget we can be with you all day!
During each session everyone will be given a slab of clay and can decide on whatever they want to make. Or follow a plan with all the supervision supplied by Purple Potters.
We can offer simple coasters, personal tiles, make a pot, plaques for the wall or garden, angels and more.
Depending on the work space up to 20 potters can attend each session.
At the end of the workshop all pieces are collected and taken back to the pottery to be bisque fired. We return one week later to glaze the work; this will take a further 1 hour.
This second visit to glaze is not necessary if you request just one colour glaze which can be applied by us at the pottery for a low cost of just £75 per 20 potters.
All work is then taken away for the last firing and returned two weeks later complete and individually wrapped.
The price for this unique fulfilling service is just £10 per potter. Bookings of more than 30 potters receive a discount.
